Our Mission
At MMD Events, our mission is to provide the highest quality children’s character entertainment while ensuring the safety and well-being of all attendees. Our goal is to make each child’s dream come true and create a magical experience that they will cherish forever.
Sarah Coleman: Director
Sarah began performing at 6, studying at Marron Theatre Arts School for a decade, earning IDTA qualifications in Ballet, Tap, Modern Jazz, Theatre Craft, and singing certifications from the Royal College of Music. She performed in Newcastle Theatre Royal pantomimes and local productions between ages 6-11.
With extensive competitive dancing experience, Sarah represented the UK in international ballet competitions and won the 2006 Northumbrian song and dance championship. At 17, she joined London’s renowned ArtsEd school for dance and theatre, collaborating with the Cuban Ballet Company and participating in the National Youth Theatre.
Sarah earned a criminology and psychology degree from the University of Sunderland in 2017, working as a children’s entertainer and dance teacher during her studies. She also developed unique performance skills like fire arts and stilt walking, performing with Cirque de Hilarious and as Graeme Shaw Illusionist’s assistant.
Her vast performing arts experience and passion for spreading joy led Sarah to establish her own entertainment company, Make My Day Events.
